In Ballard, a Thanksgiving dinner was left by a homeless camper. The food is left and the rats begin their feast. When is Seattle going to get it right? They are perpetuating the problem of drugs and environmental hazards. As long as the Council stays on track to do what they’ve been doing, this will not change. Camping should be illegal in this city and tracking the homeless must be mandatory. Let’s start getting control of the situation and get these individuals help with treatment and mental health—not this continuation of enablement.
